This notice will serve as a clarification regarding the construction drawings. Some of the roadway-crossing details are not shown in the plans. On Page 3, Detail “A” and Detail “B” are not shown. On Page 4, Detail “C” is not shown. The quantities shown on the bid form and on Page 2 of the plans are correct.
This notice will serve as a clarification regarding the construction specification for Section 33 11 17 – Water Distribution Piping – Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC). Section 2.1.A.1 of this specification should read “Fittings: AWWA C153, mechanical joint ductile iron.” instead of “Fittings: ASTM D2466, PVC.”

Separate Sealed Bids for the Construction of the 2018 Water System Improvements – Contract No. II Distribution Improvements will be received by the West Madison Utility District herein called the “owner” at West Madison Utility District’s office located at 443 Livingston Vernon Drive Flora, MS 39071 until 10 a.m. local time on Friday, June 21, 2019 and then at said location publicly opened and read aloud.
The PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the following locations:

Any contract or contracts awarded under this invitation for bids are expected to be funded in whole or in part by anticipated funds from the Drinking Water Systems Improvements Revolving Loan Fund (DWSIRLF) Loan Program from the State of Mississippi. Neither the State of Mississippi, the Local Governments and Rural Water Systems Improvements Board, nor any of their employees is or will be a party to this invitation for bids or any resulting or related contracts. This procurement will be subject to all applicable sections of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annoted, as they apply to local governments, in accordance with Appendix D of the DWSIRLF Program Regulations.
