ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed Bids for the implementation of HERBICIDE TREATMENT FOR VEGETATIVE CONTROL will be received by THE CITY OF RICHLAND, MISSISSIPPI, at CITY HALL, 380 SCARBROUGH STREET, RICHLAND, MISSISSIPPI 39218, or electronically at www.engserviceplans.com,until 10:00 a.m. local time on SEPTEMBER 24, 2021, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project consists of APPLICATION OF HERBICIDE MIXTURES FOR VEGETATIVE CONTROL ALONG MISCELLANEOUS DRAINAGE STRUCTURES, DITCHES AND CHANNELS (FOUR YEAR PROGRAM).

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and/or unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: ENGINEERING SERVICE, 115 AEROSMITH DRIVE, PO BOX 180429 RICHLAND, MISSISSIPPI 39218, 601-939-8737 AND THE PROJECT MANAGER IS R. ALLEN SCOTT, P.E. ascott@engservice.com. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office and Richland City Hall on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8am-5pm, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below:

Bidding Documents are being made available via original paper copy through Plan House Printing. Persons interested in obtaining plans and specifications are required to register for an account at www.engserviceplans.com to view and order Bid Documents. All plan holders are required to have a valid email address for registration. Bid documents may be obtained at the above location upon payment of $100 (which is non-refundable) and must be purchased through the website or by phone. For questions regarding website registration or how to place online orders please contact Plan House Printing at (662) 407-0193.

Bidders may also view the Bid Documents at participating Construction Association plan rooms. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the amount of 5% of the Bid.

Bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission.

Owner intends to award the lowest and best bid and reserves the right to waive irregularities and to accept or reject any or all Bids.
