Bids for the construction of 2019 Water System Improvements, Contract II Storage Improvements Rebid will be received via hand delivery at the office of the South Central Water Association, located at 14525 Midway Road, Terry, MS, 39170, or mailed to P.O. Box 1228, Raymond, MS 39154 or electronically at www.engserviceplans.com until 10:00 a.m. on _December 6, 2023. At that time all Bids received will be transported to 5400 Midway Road, Raymond, MS 39145 to be publicly opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work: Erection of a new 1 million gallon elevated storage tank on the Owner’s property located at the southeast corner of Midway Road and Lebanon Pine Grove Road in central Hinds County, Mississippi; installation of approximately 460 linear feet of 12” water main and appurtenances, submerged mixer, SCADA, and electrical.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents- Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the following website: www.engserviceplans.com. Bidding Documents may be viewed and purchased from the designated website. The website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.

Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by paying a non-refundable deposit for each set.

American Iron and Steel
Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term “iron and steel products” means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials.
