Bids for the construction of Mississippi Rural Water Association, New Training Facility, Site Construction, Phase I Rebid will be received at the office of Mississippi Rural Water Association located at 172 Country Place Parkway, Pearl, MS 39208, (or electronically at www.engserviceplans.com) until August 5, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. local time. At that time, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Project includes the following Work:
Site clearing, approximately 6,000 cubic yards of excess excavation, 2,000 cubic yards of borrow excavation, 270 linear feet of 15” corrugated plastic pipe, 135 linear feet of 12” corrugated plastic pipe, 6 cubic yards of structural concrete for minor structures, 3,000 square yards of soil-limewater mixing, 735 tons of 610 crushed stone, 740 linear feet of header curb, 715 tons of base course asphalt, 1,115 square yards of asphalt milling, 510 tons of surface course asphalt, pavement markings, and grassing.
Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the following website: www.engserviceplans.com. Bidding Documents may be viewed, purchased, and submitted electronically via the designated website. The website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by paying a non-refundable deposit for each set.

Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended 12 U.S.C. 1701u (Section 3). Regulations governing the grant require that, to the greatest extent feasible, opportunities for contracting, subcontracting, training and employment arising in connection with this project will be extended to Section 3 businesses and Section 3 residents.
