ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Rehabilitation of Wastewater Pump Stations #9 & #11 will be received by the City of Richland, MS at City Hall located at 380 Scarborough Street, Richland, MS 39218 until 10:00 a.m. local time on November 20, 2020 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Bids not received by the indicated time will not be opened.

The Project consists of the following work at each of two (2) separate grinder wastewater pump stations: removing and salvaging wet wells, submersible pumps/motors, guide rails, discharge piping and incidentals; providing and installing new fiberglass wet wells; provide and install new submersible pumps/motors, guide rails, discharge piping, and incidentals; removing and salvaging all single phase control panels (excluding SCADA equipment) and providing and installing new three phase control panels.

Owner requires the Project to be completed in 30 calendar days. Notice to Proceed can be held until all equipment is received.

Bidding Documents for a Unit Price contract are being made available via original paper copy through Plan House Printing. Persons interested in obtaining plans and specifications are required to register for an account at www.engserviceplans.com to view and order Bid Documents. All plan holders are required to have a valid email address for registration. Bid documents may be obtained at the above location upon payment of $50.00 (which is non-refundable) and must be purchased through the website or by phone. Bidders may view the Bid Documents at the office of the Owner and office of the Engineer as well as participating Construction Association plan rooms.

Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the amount of 5% of the Bid.

Bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission.

Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to accept or reject any or all Bids.
